December 26, 2003 -whew- the first chance i've had to read everyone's christmas posts. it's nice hearing how they're celebrating christmas. can you believe it? another year is over. well, almost. 2003 has moved on. christmas eve was spent in my aunt's house. it was the usual formal affair it always is. some cousins from the states were there. i finally got to see my neice amanda, who i haven't seen in six years, since she's all the way in connecticut. i mean, who goes to connecticut? :S we had an african priest, father tony emissa, say mass. i kinda liked his homily. he mentioned how mary gave birth in unhygienic conditions. i never really thought of the nativity that way. the food was also fab. illustrado's been on a roll these past two christmases. there were curried prawns, eggplant stuffed with shiitake and wild mushrooms, jamon serrano, lamb, steak.. *bloated* ahh. glorious christmas. i'm going to sing and dance and to hell with those lacking in christmas spirit. on christmas, we had lunch with my mom's side of the family. all the cousin's got to talking about my debut. my brother's being totally unreasonable about it. i can't believe he's getting so worked up over a cotillon. it's tradition! i'm not having those 18 roses shit. well, whatever. pfft. at least my cousins are being supportive. broke another heart at 12:20     December 24, 2003 i miss candice!!! wahh! *tear* i got home really late last night from a family reunion. i'm still caught up in the aftermath of relatives *dizzy* tonight is christmas eve. i'm sure everyone is going to be celebrating tonight. well, cheers to us all! it's the day before christmas. broke another heart at 13:20     December 19, 2003
![]() because i thought this picture was pretty, laura of mewing.net told me this: "it seems you enjoy dancing, drinking, eating, orgies, and expensive perfume. you're the type of person who buys brand-name socks--but you are also the type of person who has been electricuted by the toaster at least seven times. you were at the top of the class in elementary school, but faltered in junior high, because you didn't understand algebra. your favorite singer, suprisingly, is prince, and in your spare time you can be found tinkering with broken calculators and atari home videogame units." whatever will laura tell you?? broke another heart at 21:39     ramen fest= delicious food and delicious men ;) THE BEST WAY TO CAP OFF THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR.. Ramen fest in Jopie's house with: Jopie, Alyssa, Candice, Eris, Teska and Ina. We've been planning this for a month. It was so much fun. CANDICE> i'll miss you! have a safe trip.. remember me while you're having fun. kick white a$$! broke another heart at 01:47     December 15, 2003 1. ..::+::.. i just got home from lunch with the whole family. it was my aunt's birthday. the food was great. my mom told me on our way home that i've always had an expensive palatte. apparently i was already looking for foi gras and smoked salmon at the age of 2. and the salmon had to be at just the right temperature (you know, chilled enough not to be soggy) or else i wouldn't eat it. hahahaha. who knew? hmm, it's my physics and economics test tomorrow. *note to self: find notes in time for exam tomorrow* my mom dragged me to this dinner in my tita's house last night. i'm getting so fat already. aaahh. broke another heart at 16:48     December 13, 2003 wow! it's like been forever since i've gone online.. well i went blog hopping awhile ago and came across this in jan's blog...
Curiouser and Curiouser Beyond nonsense verse and coming-of-age fables, Lewis Carroll's true passion was photographing moody young beauties. Olivier Theyskens, in the guise of Carroll, captures model Natalia Vodianova as Alice Liddell. Natalia wears a Rochas iridescent blue-flower ruffle dress specially designed by Theyskens.
Down the Rabbit Hole Faster, faster, faster she fell! Chasing Tom Ford's White Rabbit, our Alice disappears down the never-ending dark passage. Tom Ford for Yves Saint Laurent Gauche sky-blue silk-satin dress.
Drink Me How was Alice to know the innocent little bottle would make her grow to such a size? As Helmut Lang watched from the wall, she curled her legs up and hoped the designer's organza minidress wouldn't be crushed by her startling height. Dress from the Helmut Lang made-to-measure studio.
Advice from a Caterpillar Clad in Marc Jacobs's ruffled chiffon minidress, Alice found herself engaged in an infuriatingly roundabout conversation with a mushroom-dweller. Where am I? she wondered...and how have I gotten here?
Pig & Pepper It was a queer-shaped little creature, and held out its arms and legs in all directions, “just like a starfish.” Chanel Haute Couture embroidered satin jacket with a draped satin skirt and cream leather boot pants. The Chanel designer wears Chrome Hearts necklaces and belt.
The Cheshire Cat “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” Alice asked sweetly of the cat with a grin as devilish as anything she had ever seen. “ That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” replied our Cat, Jean Paul Gaultier. Blue silk-jersey draped dress by Gaultier Paris.
The Mad Tea Party “No room!” The March Hare and Mad Hatter shouted. “No room!” But Alice plunked down, desperate for some biscuits after a long day of living backward. Christian Lacroix Haute Couture dress with painted and sculpted mink dickey over a lace top and frilled lamé skirt. Stephen Jones (right), wears a custom-made hat of his own design. Lacroix, as the March Hare, is at far right.
Who Stole the Tarts? “My name is Alice, so please Your Majesty,” the young girl, draped in Dior Couture, said softly. “ You make me giddy!” screamed the Queen. Dior Haute Couture by John Galliano hand-painted polka-dot dress. Galliano as the Queen of Hearts, wears a Dior Haute Couture coat and is accompanied by his King, Alexis Roche. (john galliano is SUCH a queen! :D)
The Mock Turtle's Story “What is his sorrow?” Alice, in Atelier Versace, asked the Gryphon. “Once,” sighed the Mock Turtle, “ I was a real turtle.” Atelier Versace layered silk-tulle and chiffon-organza dress lined in lace. Donatella Versace and Rupert Everett are in Versace. (i had a thing for rupert everett in "princess daisy"...i know, it's such a fruity title but it was a good movie..check it out)
Through the Looking Glass Wrapped in ocean-blue Balenciaga couture, Alice perched on the mantel, longing to escape into the shadow world, as her black kitty purred nearby. Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière crystal pleated chiffon dress and grey ankle boots. Shot on location at the Château de Corbeil-Cerf. ..::+::.. i saw this in vogue a few months ago and i wanted to scan it. there ya go! a few months later and my work is done for me! fabulous. moving on... ate arrived from australia last night! whee!!! i am so happy she's back. we went straight to arquiza the minute she called to say she arrived. i am such a pig. i had dinner three times last night. anyway, she brought home an extra maleta full of OUR pasalubongs. yay! i haven't opened it yet since i've been too busy but later. i'm keeping my brother company while he sells in the ctk bazaar later. the poor guy is all alone. even with me around, since i'll be busy checking out the other stalls. then tektite after for the mng overruns! btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TITA LUCY! her support has been invaluable in orchestrating my debut. not to mention, her party tomorrow will fill my stomach. what a whore. dash. broke another heart at 11:11     December 02, 2003 look what i found on friendster. her english is apalling. *shudder* Testimonials by the criminal herself: Zsa-Zsa, 11/15/2003: Achie… My sister what can I say to this girl… for the 19 years of my life I can say that half of it I know her...
